What Tabology says its products do
From 10 posts on Tabology's own blog, read 12 Oct 2026. Each sentence is Tabology's claim in our words, numbered to the post it comes from. We have not used these systems.
Tabology's EPOS hardware
Tabology says its hospitality EPOS runs only on iPads and iPhones, and that the back office opens in any modern web browser.5 It says Android devices are not currently supported.5 It says iPads and iPhones work with the payment terminals it supports, plus printers, cash drawers, kitchen screens and handheld POS devices.5 It says it tests new versions in its own pub before release.5
On our rate card Tabology: From £39/mo; card rate: Not published.
Tabology's booking system
Tabology says its booking system is built into its EPOS and comes with the Pro subscription.3 It says bookings can come from the venue own site, its social pages, and Google in both Search and Maps.36 It says customers pick a booking type from a menu, and the venue controls which types are confirmed automatically and which need approval, deposits, pre-auths or pre-orders.63 It says a venue can set a maximum number of covers arriving at the same time, and the system then makes extra time slots unavailable.6 It says staff can add walk-ins in seconds on the bookings grid or table plan, and new booking alerts pop up on the till.3
Tabology's booking pre-orders, reminders and rotas
Tabology says the pre-order menu syncs automatically with the normal menu, and a venue can set pre-order requirements for different booking types.6 It says guests can place pre-orders while booking, and marking a booking as arrived generates pre-order tickets and adjusts stock.3 It says deposits are applied automatically as credit when a tab is opened, so they show correctly in the end-of-night reports.3 It says reminders go by email and SMS, with a Twilio add-on for SMS, and confirmation messages carry cancellation links.3 It says each day's bookings show on the rota and feed an AI forecasting tool for staffing levels.37
Tabology's stock ordering and costing
Tabology says a venue can set up low stock notifications and get an email when a product or ingredient runs low.8 It says its Suggested orders function proposes order quantities from sales since the last order, current stock and preset minimum stock levels.8 It says recipe costing and batch management tools let a venue adjust ingredient amounts and portion sizes with precision.8 It says a bulk price update function edits prices for selected products in minutes, with automatic GP% calculations.8 It says feedback from its users points to as much as 2 hours saved each week by streamlining ordering.8
Tabology's stocktakes and variances
Tabology says a venue can run a stocktake on selected lines instead of a full stocktake every time.8 It says every stock report has a Variances tab, and a notes section for flagging key issues.8 It says a venue can choose which columns show in the stock report.8 It says its EPOS includes stock tools comparable to a standalone stock platform.8 It says product templates for each category mean new products automatically carry the right stock settings.1
Tabology's sales and stock reports
Tabology says all seven of its hospitality EPOS reports are built into every EPOS plan, so a venue does not need third-party reporting tools.1 It says the Sales Graph shows sales over time and can be compared with an equivalent earlier period.1 It says sales can be filtered by staff member, among other filters.1 It says the Stock Report shows actual gross profit once losses are accounted for.1 It says the Wastage Report shows where recorded wastage costs a venue money, with a graph of total cost and a drill-down by product.1
Tabology's staff cost, profit and email reports
Tabology says its Itemised Sales report is a list of the sales made in a chosen time window.1 It says Toast Pub & Kitchen cut its staff costs from 26% to 23.9%, using the staff costs report.1 It says its P&L report can give an immediate estimate of profit for a day, week or month.1 It says email reports can deliver key figures to an inbox each day, week or month.1 It quotes Josh Margarson of Swoon Gelato saying the reporting tools give a more accurate picture of stock use at each site.1
Tabology's multi-site management
Tabology says updating an ingredient's price in its EPOS also updates the cost price of every item that uses it.10 It says managers can see centralised real-time reports in the back office, and can schedule daily, weekly or monthly email reports with figures for every venue.10 It says one site can request a stock transfer from another, like ordering from a supplier, and stock levels at both sites update once the stock has moved.10 It says its multi-site management supports remote management whatever the size of the organisation.9 It quotes Darren Atton of TNSCatering saying head office could maintain systems across the country remotely, helped by integrated payments and the multi-site dashboard.9
Tabology's integrations and support
Tabology says mobile ordering, booking, stock management, loyalty and staff scheduling tools all share the same data.2 It says its third-party integrations include accounting packages, payment processors and delivery services.2 It says its Feature Request Board lets customers put forward ideas, talk them over and vote on features.9 It says customers get a dedicated Telegram channel for support, staffed 8am to midnight every day of the year, and that its average first response takes under 2 minutes.3 It says all customers receive training and onboarding from its experts, with unlimited support.3
How Tabology's blog describes integrated payments
Tabology says integrated payments link the hospitality EPOS directly to the card terminal.4 It says staff tap one button on the till and the sale amount goes to the terminal automatically.4 It says its EPOS works with the payment terminals it supports.5
